It's been a week now that Aarchi has been working in Kartik's office. They both don't interact with each other at all except for a little discussion when it is very important.

After two days they had their first hearing in the court for their case so today they had to finalize all the work and for that today Aarchi and Armaan need to talk to Kartik , Aarchi told Armaan to handle this by himself as she didn't wanted to interact with kartik .

But Armaan insisted that they both should be there and as she was the senior lawyer in this case she should must be there. Aarchi tried to convince Armaan but still he said no she should accompany him. So finally Aarchi said okay to join him for the questionnaire.

Both of them went to Karthik's cabin. Kartik was checking some files but when he saw Aarchi and Armaan, he closed the file and gestured them to have a sit.

"Sir day after tomorrow there is the first hearing of the case and we are all prepared for it , we have gathered all the evidences againt the Khanna's and we think the case will not be much extended and we are sure the decision of court will be in our favour" Armaan explained to kartik

"That's great, I praise the hardwork you both have been doing for the case "..Kartik replied with a humble feeling

"No need to thank us Mr. Kartik this is the part of our work "...Aarchi immediately replied

"Iss ladki se ek thank you v accept nahi kia jaata hai , shaanti se"...Kartik mumbled to himself

(This girl can't even accept a thank you peacefully)

"Sir did you say something ?"Armaan asked

"No, nothing "...Kartik replied

"Mr. Kartik we have some set of questions that you need to answer as these questions can be asked to you by the opposition party lawyer"... Aarchi said while giving some papers to Kartik

"Okay sure " Kartik replied

"If you have any kind of doubt you can ask "Armaan Said

Kartik just hummed and started reading the questions .

"Okay I have no doubts regarding this , I can answer all of these well " Kartik replied after reading the questions

"Okay then we should leave"..Aarchi said

"Sir on Monday for the hearing you need to be there(at court )at sharp 10 o'clock" Armaan  said informing kartik

"Hmm, I will be there on time " Kartik replied

With this Aarchi and Armaan left the office.

At Aarchi's home

"Mamma , I am back"...Aarchi said keeping her purse on the couch

"How was your day bachha? " Riya ji (Aarchi's mother ) asked to Aarchi

"It was good mumma "..Aarchi replied resting her head on Riya Ji's lap

"Everything is okay na bachha ?" Riya ji asked while massaging Aarchi's head lovingly

"Haa, mumma sab thik hai !" Aarchi replied assuring Riya ji

"Jab se tu iss naye case pe kaam kr rahi tab se kuchh pareshan lag rhi , koi dikkat hai to mujhse share kr " Riya ji said

(Ever since you have been working on this case you seem a little worried. If you have any problems, please share with me.)

"Mamma, aap mumma logo ko kaise pata chal jaata hai jb hum pareshan hote hai ?" Aarchi asked to Riya ji

(Mom, how do you guys know when the children are upset?")

"It's a superpower that God has given to mother's only, now tell me what's the problem " Riya ji replied kissing Aarchi's forehead lovingly

"It's just in this case , I am having a little much more work stress, and there is nothing else to be worried about " Aarchi replied assuring Riya ji

"Achha chal thik hai tu room me Jaa fresh ho or aaram kr Mai neetu se Teri coffee bhijwati hun" Riya ji said to Aarchi

(Okay, okay ! Now you go to the room, freshen up and rest, I will send your coffee with Neetu)

(Neetu is the house helper)

"Hmm, okay mumma " saying this Aarchi left the living area and went to her room

After being freshen up neetu came and gave coffee to aarchi .

"Haa, ab tujhe meri yaad kyu hi aayegi itni badi lawyer jo ban gyi hai ab iss dost ko puchhta hi kon hai "  Siya said to aarchi with fake tears

(Yes, now why will you remember me, you have became such a big lawyer, now who cares about this friend? )

"Bas ab drama band kar or bata kaisi hai " Aarchi said to Siya on the call

(Stop the drama now and tell me how are you)

"Mai thik hu , tune 2 mahine se mujhe call nahi kia hai aur ab keh Rahi hai drama band kar, waah re duniya kaise dost hai meri " Siya again said with Same fake tears

(I am fine, you have not called me since 2 months and now you are saying stop the drama, wow what a friend I have )

"Sachi tu ekdum drama queen hai , aree itna work stress ho Jaa rha tha ki time hi nii mil rha tha sorry na " Aarchi said apologizing to Siya

(You are totally a drama queen, I was getting so much work stress that I was running out of time, sorry na )

"Haa haa iss baar maaf Kia tu v kya yaad kregi ki kitni Dil wali Teri dost hai!!" Siya said with a proud.

(Yes yes, I forgave you this time and you will remember how kind-hearted your friend is? )

"Thankyou meri dil wali Jaan !!" Aarchi replied with a grin

"Achha tu bata New York fashion week ki taiyaari kaisi chal Rahi hai ?" Aarchi continued

(Okay now tell me how the preparation for New York fashion week is going?)

"Fantastic "..Siya replied

"Okay now listen I have to share something " Aarchi said in a serious tone

"Something serious?, Are you having any problem or someone is troubling you? Tell me I will break his bones I swear " siya replied with a concern

"No need to break bones , it's just someone from past is back " Aarchi said

"Who?" Siya asked

"Kartik Shikhawat " Aarchi replied with a rage

"That fucking bastard , but where did you meet him ?" Siya asked

"Actually I recently got a case from Shikhawat Constructions, and it is such a big company I gladly joined but when I went there, I saw that bastard is the CEO of the company " Aarchi said

"So, is he troubling you?, and if he doing so na I swear I will definitely break his bones " Siya replied with anger

"No, he is not troubling me , but whenever I see him na I remember everything from past and it triggers my anger to the extent that I am not able to control " Aarchi said

"Then why are you looking after his case, just leave it na " Siya replied

"I can't siyu, I and Armaan had signed a contract before taking over the case and now until the case is not over we can't back off" Aarchi explained to siya

"Oh, then when is this case going to wrap up?" Siya asked

"Most probably after the second hearing or even on the first if the opposition has weak witness" Aarchi replied

"Are you free tomorrow?" Aarchi asked siya

"Yes, yes let's meet tomorrow , waise v kaafi time ho gya hai humne saath me time nahi spend kia " Siya replied

(Well, it's been a long time since we spent time together. )

"YUPPPP then let's meet tomorrow at our favourite cafe at 3 o'clock" Aarchi replied with a happy face

"Hmm, it will be fun " Siya replied

"Okay bye then see you tomorrow " Aarchi said

"Byee have a great evening bandar (monkey)" Siya replied.

Aarchi's Pov :

After talking to siyu I had a nap and now finally I am feeling a little relaxed, after sharing things to your bestfriend everything feel good because you know that they will not judge you and will be there to support you no matter what happens, and I am very grateful to God that I have a bestie like siyu who is always ready to break even bones of someone for me , she is the best !!!

" Aashi beta come down dinner is ready" Mumma called me

(Aashi is the nickname of Aarchi , so don't get confused)

"Coming mumma" I replied and I went towards the dining area for the dinner

When I went to dining area papa and bhai were already there discussing about buisness I guess, and my mumma was as always scolding them to not bring office matters at the dining table .

After seeing me papa and I hugged while as always bhai teased me and now I am used to it because without bickering with my day also feels incomplete.

Then we all had dinner with some chit chats about the day and after that we all moved to our room biding good night to each other.
